[Ti] PB's were in real danger of falling behind

This is irrelevant because of 2 facts. First, the Mac faithful will buy Macs
no matter what, so growth has to come from first time buyers (if there is
really anybody left that IS a first time buyer) and switchers.  When
potential switchers see the Porsche Design machine they think that it is
cool enough and they do not see a compelling reason to go to a Mac with a
much slower (MHz-wise) processor that costs more.

You can argue all day the details of this, but there there are, I suspect,
more PC's sold every week than Macs sold every year.  And that is BAD for
all of us who use Macs.
