For anyone on this list in the UK, here's my first experience with AppleCare PowerBook service: Late Sat. 25/01/03 - noticed problem with charger to PB lead - insulation failed about 250 mm from plug. Twisted it gently and it started arcing - switch off pronto! Sun 26/01/03 pm - phoned AppleCare. Covered under contract, new charger to be sent by courier. Tues 28/01/03 (early a.m.) - new charger arrives. Packing and labels for return of old charger within 15 days. The new charger seems to have been air freighted (if that's a word) from the Netherlands. That seems pretty good service to me. Colin McDonald
