Very soon we will probably have fuel cell batteries that will last 40 hours or more. NEC already has a laptop on the market with a fuel cell that runs on methanol and lasts about 5 hours (no big deal yet). But they say that 40 hours and more will be obtainable next year. Now, it would sure be nice if these cells could be retrofitted in a Powerbook!!! jg
