battery problem.. help!!!

hi. all
when i woke up this morning, i was surprised when i
wake my powerbook up. (i always plugs my G4 in to the
power cord.) and the battery life is at the "0%" and
the indicator show me its charging and the message
said "calculating until full". 
and for the underneath of the battery, the green
indicator is going one by one. please help me out
here.
