Yep, I had the same problem installing the latest Microtech USB 
CameraMate drivers on my wife's G4 Sawtooth with 10.2.4 -- figured it 
was a problem unique to this vendor's PKG.  I gave up, shut down the 
machine and went to sleep, then the next morning booted and 
re-downloaded the driver PKG and it installed OK.

Strange...no identifiable pattern or fix.
