Probably the most useful ones would be:
Unix System Administration Handbook, Nemeth, et al
(the following are all O'Reilly books):
Essential System Administration Pocket Reference
Essential System Administration, 3rd Ed.
Learning the bash shell
Learning the vi editor
vi editor Pocket Reference
sed & awk
sed & awk procket reference
using csh & tcsh
When You Can't Find your Unix System Administrator
I've used all of these at one time or another over the past 12 years.
I recommended more than one shell book because shells tend to offer
different things to different people, and both csh and bash are
available on OS X.
The Nemeth book has long been a cornerstone of introductory Unix admin
training.
