Try two-three layers of electrical or other kind of tape, the good quality thicker stuff. Just cut a couple of pieces in whatever small shape you prefer.

You can get a replacement at PowerBook Parts <http://www.pbparts.com> or perhaps elsewhere, and if you're  handy and can find an assembly manual, do it yourself. It's $89 though. If you're under warranty or AppleCare, best thing is to have them fix it.
