To - as I posted (about my March 2001 Ti-500) a couple of weeks ago:

	My battery lifetime (end of life was when the capacity fully 
charged was only 4 minutes
	instead of 4 hours) was almost exactly two years.

There is no way to rejuvenate a Li-ion battery (to my knowledge). 
Dead is dead.
