I could live with that. I just did the Service Pack 1 upgrade for 
Windows XP, in VirtualPC, and it added a gigabyte to the 
installation. with archiving OFF.  :=(

Service Pack 1, by the way, is about 31 'security' upgrades 'ago' in 
the MS world. <laughs>
