Inconsistency in interface

It is funny how easy it is to take interface conventions for granted. I 
just noticed that you cannot rename an iPhoto album by clicking on its 
name. You have to type the new name into a box. That is the first time 
I have seen an iApp do this. Anyone has seen inconsistencies like that 
one?
