Thank you, Fred. This is a much more productive list when we are understanding of our differences. I do not use AOL and have many unusual stories to support that which others on this list don't have (not many reach Steve Case either). AOL is NOT right for me. But I deal with others of less experience and for many of them, AOL is the right and best thing.

This probably applies even more strongly to the Macintosh community. A non-technical person who doesn't want to know how things work needs support. If there aren't many Macintosh people nearby to help with our level of internet need, then they will go further with something like AOL. These people can find plenty of PC users nearby to help them with internet alternatives.
