OK, then something is funny in my opinion. I suggest you rule out any 
software (though I can't understand why they should make any 
difference. :-)). Do you have the same reaktion directly after restart 
when nothing else then Finder is running?

If so can you create another user and see if the problems remain.

If it does I would get in contact with Apple and do so quickly in case 
you're Apple Care is about to expire
