AlBook "annoyances"

After having an AlBook (15.2" 1.25Mhz) for a few weeks, there are a
couple of things that really bug me about it.

1) Why is the power adapter and cord white? It looks like I lost mine
and am borrowing my wife's iBook adapter. They should at least have
the cord/connecter near the computer match the computer cased and be
silver.

2) The power cord sticking out on the left is really annoying. I use
my PowerBook on the right armrest of my home theater seating all the
time and the cord sticks out over my cup holder. I guess I could
change seats and put it on the left, but it just doesn't belong
sticking out the side like that.

3) The sleep light on the display latch is WAY too bright. I could use
it as a lighthouse. I have used it as a flashlight. When I'm watching
a movie and close the lid on my PowerBook this bright white light keeps
shining in my eyes. The bright power cord charge status light is
similarly annoying, but I can easily rotate it out of sight. Anyone
have a suggestion for a semi-permanent way to dim these? I was
thinking of writing on them with a Sharpie or something.

Don't get me wrong, I love this machine, but those couple of little
things just seem un-Apple-like.
