there might be violations with long file names - due to the
incompatibility of win & mac ......
did you give the macintosh the right privileges on the win machine ? (i
mean, did you assign folders that you "share" in the network ?) you can
do that with right-click on a folder on the windows machine and there
should be an option to 'share this folder' ... now, i am not sure,
because i haven't worked with winXP, just with 2000 .....
good luck and yes, try out pcmaclan - i thought it is very helpful ...
