John - I also seek a solution for my Al-book, 
which has the fan running almost all the time 
(cpu temperature around 62°C+) unless I reduce my 
processor speed.

As I have said before, this is a real problem 
when recording useing the internal mic or when 
using VOIP (Skype).

I am thinking of getting a thin aluminium 'wedge' 
made for the Al-book to sit on, just to conduct 
the heat away.
