Hi Guys, realise this is not a Titanium or PB question but I am at my
wits end.

I just 'switched' 3 hours ago from a local ISP in Hong Kong to a
another one called Netvigator - promises - cheap, great speed etc etc

( "promotion" aka in hong Kong as a "pwo-mow-shun") b/band TV etc etc..
great except........

Looks great but for the last few hours until now I cannot send emails
to SMTP.MAC.COM because these idiots (@$#%#^#^) have blocked the port
(25). Needless to say unless I can remedy this I will cancel this
service and go back to original ISP. (bugger!).. (I GUESS I'D HAVET HE
RECORDS AS THEIR SHORTEST SUBSCRIBER : )

THe formal way is to use THEIR mail send gateway (as I have done) to
send this email.

According to this ISP (NETVIGATOR) they have limited bcc: and cc: and
to: emails to a total of 25 emails per time AND do some checking to
stop SPAMing... nice idea but .... I am also impacted because I have
the same problem with other accounts (@hongkong.com and @.my.work.com )
except where I get around using a VPN.

This means when I travel (as I do a lot with this Powerbook), I I have
to stuff around and select an SMTP.xx.xxx. where I am located,
especially in airports etc... however most of these LEAVE port 25 alone
. (I have a list of these form USA to placed like Toulouse
(smtp.orange.fr , etc etc)......

So..

does anyone know if SMTP.MAC.COM can be accessed over another port for
SENDING emails?

thanks

w
