Hello list,

I have a Ti 667 DVI running 10.3.2 and a beautiful mac it is too.

My friend gave me a Proxim RangeLAN wireless 802.11b card which I use in
my PCMCIA slot.

I use the open source driver from http://wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net
which works fine having hacked one of the plists to enable specific card
support according to instructions on the download site.

However, with this card I am unable to log on to any encrypted networks.
One of my friends told me that my card should work with the latest Apple
Airport software, but although the card is installed, there is no airport
tab in my network control panel.

Does anyone know if the latest Airport software does in fact work with 3rd
party cards?

Joel
