I've been very happy with my Olympus DS-330 and its interface, using 
Jaguar -- don't know about Panther. But I recently bought a Palm 
Tungsten T and was surprised to find how good it is as a voice 
recorder, giving me half an hour at a time easily on 5 M of memory.
