VPC performance on new 1.5Mhz machines

Hi

I am SORRLY tempted by one of these new machines but I do need to use VPC a
lot.

Connectix always recommended a big cache to improve performance and my
current machine has 2Mb (800Mhz TiBook but I THINK the new ones are
significantly smaller than this.

Has anyone with one of the new systems compared VPC performance between
their old and new machines?
