Get PathFinder, launch it and quit the Finder. That's what I do. PathFinder
is what the Mac Finder should be. It also has a very decent text editor, PDF
viewer and Graphic viewer built in - and a whole bunch of UNIX and Mac
utilities and scripts. Can't live without it.
