[Ti] Impending speed bumps?

Everything I read about these new IBM chips makes my mouth water!  
Lots of “If only...” thoughts. What a monster Powerbook we almost had  
before Apple took a very wrong turn!

I wonder if there is any chance (even a very slim one) that Apple  
could release just one low power dual core G5 Powerbook before they  
make the final switch to Intel (?!)
