If you have a legal copy of VPC6, go ahead and use 6.1

There is no reason for you to buy VPC 7 as someone said that Solaris  
won't even run in it.


BTW to "cross post" something, send 1 message to 2 (or more) lists.   
That way people who respond to it on one list (who are on the other)  
can appropriately direct their replies.  I've sent a longer message  
to the X4U list.
