I scan most of the postings in Digest form, but do not generally
participate unless there's a matter of interest to me, and have
handled things that way for years now.  Unfortunately, the current
exchanges are NOT appropriate to this forum.  Moreover, anyone who is
new to this wonderful list will be turned off immediately and probably
never come back again.
