I'd buy a PC if I saw them side by side. And I own 7 Macs, four of them 
a laptops. My current TiBook has a broken hinge. My wife has two dead 
iBooks with logic board issues and we just had her TiBook screen 
replaced.

If there is a chance of running OS X on a PC, then I'd seriously think 
about it.
