I spent a lot of time looking for OEM replacement
battery for my TiBook. I finally got one off eBay,
never used, at a reasonable price. My only concern was
how long the battery was on the shelf. Li-Ion
batteries don't store well. I have been monitoring the
battery with coconutBattery. The battery charged up to
4300 watt-hr(?) out of the box in August. Now, it is
down to 3700 or so. In six months time, it charges
only to 81% of capacity after 105 cycles. Apple claims
their batteries should retain 80% capacity after 300
cycles!

Be sure to buy the freshest batteries you can find.
OWC (macsales.com) I would think has the best ones...
