Yeah, somebody needs to hit Apple's marketing people upside the head  
with a ball peen hammer.  They're using SPEC_2000 scores to compare  
the MacBook to the PowerBook.  SPEC_2000 is for multi-processor  
systems and purposely shows low scores for single core or single cpu  
systems.  It in no way reflects real world workflow performance.

I guess you can fool 90% of consumers because they don't know any  
better......

Meanwhile you can buy a Gateway with the same exact hardware in it,  
15.4" screen, the whole nine yards, for $1,500.
