[Ti] Ti book motherboard problem

well,

i experienced a similar thing .... the display would not light up,  
holding it against the sun you would be able to see psychedelic  
structures .... cause of this is (in my case) a broken logic board  
(motherboard) .... it will be the region where the graphic card is  
located.
to fix it, the logic board needs to be replaced. i think this is an  
300-400,- USD investment and i didn't do it yet - instead i got  
myself a new imac last year (summer).
i do intend to have it fixed one day though - because it is still an  
awesome machine and i am convinced that it was 'snappier than my new  
g5 imac ....
