I fear we TiPB users are a dwindling number but there are enough here  
to help you with most problems.
I recommend you upgrade your RAM as much as you can, at least to 768,  
to obtain the best from Tiger on a TiPB. And your 10 gb HD will be  
barely enough just to run Tiger.

I have a TiPB 867 with 1 gb RAM. I bought it new Jan 2003, just  
before the Al books were introduced at MWSF. It has never given me  
the slightest problem.

Anyway, just my 20c.
