Paul,
You didn¹t specify the model of your computer but the folks at Other World
Computing <http://www.otherworldcomputing.com/> have a number of internal
replacement hard drives that are sorted by computer model. Offerings for
Titanium PowerBooks vary from 40GB to 120GB and my experience with them is
that their prices are competitive and their service very good. Each drive
comes with detailed instructions for installation.
As for cleaning out the insides of your PowerBook, that¹s a good idea but
may not really be needed. (I took mine to Iraq and even in that sandy
environment very little got to the inside of my PowerBook). In any case, I
recommend using nothing other than compressed air to blow out any dirt that
may be in there.
