Hi, You need to either offload data and recover HD space (at least 6 gigs worth) or you need to transfer your data to a newer, larger HD and put the larger drive in. OSX uses hd space for continually swapping virtual memory, and when your drive is down to such a small amount of space, the cpu has to search the hd for available sectors a time consuming job.
