I guess it would depend a bit on the drive from the PC.  The Ti uses a 9.5mm
height ATA drive. 
As far as Tiger or Leopard goes...depending on which model Ti you have...you
can buy either...a Google search will provide numerous options...ck eBay,
etc as well.
The 400-800 chips will run Tiger, the 867 and 1Ghz Ti will run Tiger and
Leopard.
Didn't you have a backup you could use to restore your new drive?  If not,
good thing to do in the future.
