[X-Apps] Apple Mail and Ebay formatted messages

Haven't seen it with eBay, but I had a similar situation for a long 
while with Northwest Airlines.  I talked to them about it and they knew 
there was a problem with their html that they were working on.  In a 
couple of weeks the problem disappeared.
