[X-Apps] SOLVED: Safari displays web site in chinese (should be english)

Hi.
Fiddeling with com.apple.systempreferences.plist and 
com.apple.Safari.plist, (deleting) deleting all StartUp Items from the 
control panel, log out and log in as different user: Safari loaded the 
web page in english.
restarting and log in into my user account: Safari still works: web 
page still in english.

I don't know what did the trick but it works now.
