software update

Hi Bob...like you, I do not have superdrive, but I do have an iPod, 
although it is the earlier model, so it does not require the later iPod 
software. When the update panel comes up on your desktop, simply uncheck 
the sofware you do not require, and then click " quit" You will still be 
told that you can install that sofware anytime. Close the window. Or, 
you can simply stop getting the automatic updates! Cheers, Doug in BC
