[X-SW] How to monitor inbound/outbound network traffic?

I'm not sure what is going on but in combination with tcpdump and ps,  
once you see which internet addresses are being accessed then use lsof

start with lsof -i and then take it from there! In fact, you should  
just start with lsof -i before doing anything else..

man lsof
