[X-HW] Three Beeps on iMac

It should be the same thing on the iMac.  Try and remove the RAM you
installed as you said.  That should clear it up.  IF it still gives you 3
beeps it is possible that the other memory stick that came originally with
the iMac is bad (though I have never had a bad RAM from apple yet).  But try
and remove that extra RAM first.  I have heard that OWC will replace bad ram
but not sure for how long.  RAM is pretty cheap and I would hope they would
prefer to change yours than lose a customer.  Good luck let us know what
happens :)
