[X-HW] Monitor Suggestions

Hello List:
I need help in deciding on a Monitor replacement. The one I am  
replacing has lasted 18 years a Radius 20e. A lot has changed is why  
some help will be greatly appreciated, ie spec's.
I  have been advised to get an LCD Monitor about 26/27 inch size. I  
see so many Brands I'm not familiar with. As you can see my old  
Monitor saw, PM, G4, & now a Mac Pro running OS 10.5.
