[X Newbies] Hanging after SLEEP restart

This problem has been in existence for quite some time.

A few threads exist on the Apple forums and elsewhere..

I am never connected to an (external) mounted drive, but am almost always
connected to an external monitor.. Which seems to take the longest to
recognize the 'wake' step (or receive the signal from my Ti).

You did mention using a keystroke to awaken your machine.. I believe it was
a mouseclick that would cause me problems. As soon as I began tapping the
keyboard (not a mousebutton) to wake, my problem stopped.

I do believe a fix from Apple may still be necessary though.
