[X Newbies] Updating Firmware?

It has worked for me. If it hadn't I probably would have had two other 
iMacs with Jaguar troubles. The key though is that I had to run 
Software Update while booted in OS 9, it didn't show in OS X. Hopefully 
this will be fixed soon, if it hasn't already.
