Wrong angle - if you hark back to Florin's helpful post, you'd see that under OS X you could properly consolidate your fonts so that you could manage the common ones at the network location. It would take some learning but once accomplished, font management could be simpler/faster/easier. With one user and 16 Macs, OS X should be something to celebrate. I run eleven Macs, two Windows boxes and two Linux workstations at home and I really appreciate OS X. Two Macs are actually idle because I really can no longer feel less than frustrated by OS 9 in comparison to OS X in use.
