WAIT (sorry for yelling) :-) Whatever you do make sure that her firmware is updated!!! I MEAN THIS. We lost an iMac and have never recovered it because the firmware was not updated when we installed Jaguar and it did something (that I still don't understand) to the graphics. You can get the latest firmware from the apple site.
