multiple iPods

Hello, I've got a 10 gig 2002 model iPod on which I've got about 4 gig 
of tunes (synced with my 500 MHz iMac), and 6 gig of a clone of my 
iBook HD.
I bought a new 10 gig iPod (thin model) for my wife. Is sharing my 
iTunes library easy, or should I create a separate login ID for my 
wife, or maybe just interface the new iPod with the iBook to keep 
things simple?
Any suggestions?
