Hello, All! This is Tracey again. With all that happened recently with the infinite blue screen, I believe I'm better off buying a new hard drive and starting with a clean slate. I was finally able to complete a reinstallation of OS9 and OSX but there were still problems with both systems-- OS9 freezing up and OSX landing on the blue screen again. It seems like starting from a clean drive is a better choice. Now, I went to MacMall to find a new drive, but to be honest, I don't know what I'm looking for. It seems to me I've got to choose from an assortment of higher-powered drives than the one I have. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should purchase? Are there any manufacturers who are particularly noteworthy? Are there particular features I should look for? I'm told that there are instructions for setting up a new drive on the Mac website-- is this correct? Thanks so much for your help. Tracey
