Info: Moving files to a new Mac

Apple posted a new KB article at

Its titled "Mac OS: Moving Files From Your Older Macintosh to a New 
One" and includes moving from machines running OS's back to OS 8.

My apologies for cross-posting, but this was a recent topic on one of 
the lists I'm subscribed to and now I can't figure out which one. I do 
think it may be of interest to some on each list.
