I use Macaroni.  You have to pay for it $8.95 or $8.50 for 2 computers. 
  You do have a 30 day tryout period.  It runs in the background 
automatically from the System Preferences, does daily, weekly, monthly 
maintenance, repairs permissions weekly and removes localized files.
