As an aside, you do not have to be on line to compose your e-mail.  You 
can write it before you dial up.  You can store it temporarily in a 
Drafts folder, with most mail clients.  You can put it into the Outbox 
by hitting "Send" and then, the mail client, or most of them, will 
cause the Mac to dial up.
