updating to Panther on new HD

I recently purchased a 160 g hard drive and would like to load Panther 
on it.  I currently have a 80 g hard drive loaded with  Jaguar, and a 
40 g loaded with OS9.

I would like to become familiar with Panther before abandoning Jaguar.  
Will loading Panther on the new drive interfere with Jaguar or create 
any issues?
