[X Newbies] Graphics software

For even less $$$, Graphic Converter, 
http://www.lemkesoft.de/en/index.htm, is quite popular for every day 
photo editing.  I am not sure it does images, but certainly Photoshop 
Elements 2 does.  I use both, but mostly PE because that is what I am 
used to through Photoshop.
