Apple Pro Keyboard

I wonder if anyone can help? I am using a G4 1Ghz (Mirror Door) on system
9.2.2. I purchased a new apple keyboard because water was spilt into the
original one. The new one looks different to my old one and the mysterious
thing is the button the opens the CD drive does not work on this new
keyboard under system 9.2.2 but works under system Ten.
Does anyone know if there is something I need to set to get it to work under
system Ten?
