[X-Newbies] Patch for Vista scan for X ?

Hello

I recently changed to OSX and everything seems to run ok but I have one 
problem.
My old but still-working scanner Umax Vistascan S6 has problems with 
the new platform .
A message is prompted " Could not complete the import because a file 
was not found"
I am using classic photoshop and that worked prior the X change.
Is there a Patch or a new driver?
